I started this blog as a means to write more often. I am a writer. It is my creative outlet, one that I rarely get to access.
I also started blogging as a way to reach out to other 20-somethings in my position. I am certain that I am blessed and one lucky girl. But I battle with regretting my education and the massive student debt that came with it. I worry about the future of the world and where my meaning lies. What am I supposed to be doing here? What is my purpose?
My philosophies are simple and following them but remaining flexible and open to new things makes life not so scary and uncertain.
One of my philosophies? Loved ones. Every one has priorities. Mine are the people I love, who make me laugh and smile and know me in and out, better than I know myself. In my opinion, as long as you maintain meaningful relationships with those you love, then you are doing just fine. It’s not easy to be a good friend, or a good daughter, or girlfriend. It takes consideration and selflessness at times, while also balancing your own needs and the needs of your family. But it’s worth it. And it’s one of my priorities.
These musings, my philosophies, will come and go on this blog. They will change and adapt. But preparing for opportunity, for the future, means understanding now the things that are important to you.
