Gardening is my new stress relief.
Maybe I am using gardening to avoid the wild thoughts in my head, or maybe it is a new way to re-focus the energy I used to spend worrying.
I have been tilling, adding top soil, and weeding my pathetic, run-down, neglected garden plot outside my front door.
Bryan gave me a house-warming lily the week we were moving, which now has a wonderful new home in the ground.
I’m also growing basil and cilantro inside, and our house plants are happy to have the company. (Fact, I found that basil pot at a thrift store in Moscow for fifty cents!)
Last evening, I sat out and drank some wine surrounded by citronella candles, thankful that I finally have some space to garden.
